about Dandi
Dandi was inspired by personal fertility struggles and the lack of information and support in the journey. Through collaboration with fertility experts and patients, Dandi was created to provide comprehensive fertility care, offering products and a supportive community to guide individuals through every step of the IVF process. With a focus on empowerment and companionship, Dandi strives to remind individuals that growth and transformation are constant, even amidst challenges.

Focusing on care and community, the Dandi IVF kit was developed with soft comforting forms and materials in mind. Every component is designed to provide practical support and emotional comfort throughout the journey, distinguished by their high-quality feel and thoughtful details.
process
Interviews with experts, clinicians, and patients gave us insight into the most important and challenging parts of fertility care. We used in-house soft goods prototyping to stress test our designs with egg retrieval and IVF processes in mind. Competitor product teardowns helped make quality design decisions.

The Dandi kit includes a belt, cooling pad, heating pad, shot target, and massage ball.
The Belt – a comfortable band that serves as a guide to the injection process, the opening holds the heating and cooling pads and lines up with injection targets
Cooling Pad – hands free numbing to reduce pain from injections, gel pack freezes ahead of time
Massage Ball – alleviates tenderness post progesterone injection, rubberized ergonomic handle is easy to manipulate
Heating Pad – warms the progesterone, soothes cramping from egg retrieval, rechargeable + includes multiple heat settings
Shot Target – accurately marks the injection site, uses long-lasting temporary dye like henna tattoos
